Mendera is an interior shop specialising in curating & mending unique vintage pieces for your home, founded and run by me, Melli. We have a shop in Kruununhaka, Helsinki as well as online.
A little back story:
It all started from my love for vintage interior, design and arts. In mid-2021 I started to collect and mend interior pieces and in December 2022 Mendera online shop was opened. In 2023 we opened our first store in Punavuori and in 2026 we moved to a bigger space in Kruununhaka.
I’m especially enthusiastic about lighting so you’ll find a lot of unique lamps in the collection, alongside tableware, mirrors and furniture. The collection is updated regularly and ranges from design pieces to unique handcrafted items.
Our mission at Mendera is to help create unique interior spaces sustainably. All items are thoroughly inspected, tested, cleaned and repaired according to their individual needs.
Our new shop is located in Kruununhaka at Vironkatu 3 D (Helsinki). We serve Wednesday-Friday 12-18 & Saturday 11-16. We also update the opening hours on our Instagram incase of any changes.

We only sell pre-loved treasures at Mendera - ranging from the 1800s to early 2000s.
We clean, inspect and repair all items according to their needs before listing them for sale.
We use recycled and/or recyclable packaging materials only.
We ship worldwide - for outside EU please inquire and we'll give you a quote.
